Job Summary
Construction Administrator needed to support the construction team with day-to-day administrative tasks. Responsibilities include data entry for timecards and trucking sheets, maintaining electronic files, tracking materials, schedules and project documentation, assisting with purchasing and delivery coordination, producing meeting minutes, and importing/exporting data between software. Requires strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required; standard hours are 7:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Located in Whistler, BC, Canada with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ direct work experience in an Administrative Assistant capacity
- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, or an acceptable combination of education and progressively responsible experience
- Strong knowledge of general office procedures
- Able to write and format moderately complex correspondence, including e-mails and letters
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
- Meticulous records maintenance skills with the ability to maintain filing systems and basic databases
- Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
- Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion
