Job Summary

Construction Administrative Coordinator provides onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing support, timekeeping, meeting coordination, and field IT/safety documentation for the Regional Construction Group; collaborates with Construction Leadership, Payroll, Construction Technology, Corporate Training, IT and Safety; handles onboarding/offboarding tasks, labor requests, confidential document transfers, time sheet approvals, payroll reconciliation, minutes for departmental meetings, training tracking, safety documentation, Service Now tickets, IT device management, DMV reports, background checks, field leadership training support, and general clerical duties; requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years administrative support in construction contexts, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, Box, and Bluebeam; emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; travel available to regional offices as needed; non-exempt with typical Mon-Fri hours and possible overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years Administrative support experience required, preferably in a Construction/Contracting environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills suitable for all business levels
  • Extensive computer knowledge and experience in various business and corporate software technologies
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project
  • Google Workspace: Gmail, Docs, Calendar, Sheets, Forms
  • Smartsheet, Box, Bluebeam
  • Able to utilize applications on handheld device
  • Internet – Provide detailed data searches and online applications
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize data
  • Able to demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance
  • Able to learn new programs and processes
  • Demonstrated experience with producing and editing work product documents with accuracy
  • Well organized with ability to multitask between several projects delegated by multiple parties
  • Demonstrated experience as a team player and able to achieve assigned performance goals
  • Ability to handle pressure and hectic pace
