Job Summary
Construction Accounting Systems Manager role in Tualatin, OR leading a large-scale accounting systems improvement initiative. Evaluate existing accounting workflows, review and improve Intuit Enterprise Solutions configuration and reporting, and enhance month-end close processes and financial reporting accuracy. Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting tools; create profitability reporting by project, division, and service line; improve estimating-to-production cost tracking and job costing visibility; establish purchasing/receiving procedures; build SOPs and process documentation; identify workflow inefficiencies and opportunities for automation; collaborate with leadership to develop long-term accounting and operational improvement strategies; support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting; drive scalable accounting infrastructure as the organization grows. Qualifications include 10+ years of accounting, 10+ years QuickBooks Enterprise, 3+ years with IES, and experience in construction accounting and reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- 5+ years of construction accounting experience preferred
- 10+ years of QuickBooks Enterprise experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Intuit Enterprise Solutions (IES)
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting reporting systems
- Experience with construction job costing, WIP reporting, and cost codes preferred
- Experience improving accounting systems, processes, reporting, and operational workflows
- Experience with inventory controls, multi-division reporting, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience with business process automation and technology-driven reporting solutions
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Experience as a Senior Construction Accountant, Assistant Controller, or Construction Controller preferred
