Job Summary
Evaluate existing accounting workflows, reporting structures, and operational processes to improve Intuit Enterprise Solutions configuration and month-end close accuracy. Enhance job costing visibility, cost code structures, and inventory tracking systems while developing KPI dashboards and profitability reports by project and division. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow efforts alongside leadership to drive long-term operational improvement strategies and scalable infrastructure growth. Collaborate with accounting, operations, estimating, and warehouse teams to identify automation opportunities and standardize processes across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- 10+ years of QuickBooks Online experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Intuit Enterprise Solutions (IES)
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting reporting systems
- Experience with construction job costing, WIP reporting, and cost codes
- Experience improving accounting systems, processes, reporting, and operational workflows
- Experience with inventory controls, multi-division reporting, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience with business process automation and technology-driven reporting solutions
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction accounting experience preferred
- Experience as a Senior Construction Accountant, Assistant Controller, or Construction Controller preferred
