Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a construction/project-based environment; manage core accounting functions including WIP reporting, job costing, and AIA billing, ensuring GAAP-compliant month-end close and timely financial reporting. Lead ERP utilization and advanced Excel analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project-driven finances. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) and 5+ years of construction-related accounting experience. Location: Miami, FL. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with construction or a similar industry
- Must have strong project accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Experience with WIP reporting, job costing, and AIA billing
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
