Job Summary
Review vendor invoices and pay applications, compiling consolidated packages for reimbursement while ensuring draft invoices align with contract agreements. Reconcile project payables and receivables against budgets, tracking exceptions and allowable charges. Maintain quality standards for financial records using Oracle, spreadsheets, and software, supporting document control specialists in regulatory compliance. Review project agreement requirements and finalize invoice submittals to monitor payment progress. This onsite role in Alexandria, Virginia, supports the Construction Services Practice from pre-design through close-out. Occasional travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in private or public accounting
- Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, expressing ideas effectively and professionally
- Working knowledge of the construction industry
- Solid analytical and mathematical skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe)
- Intermediate Level of experience in Excel
- CMIC experience
- Oracle Accounting software experience
- Occasional Travel
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate Level of experience in Excel a must with CMIC and Oracle Accounting software experience preferred
