Job Summary
Senior Constructability Review Specialist to support K-12 capital projects during the preconstruction phase. Responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, scope, schedules, and interim housing plans; providing value engineering recommendations during design development; identifying inconsistencies and conflicts in design documents; reviewing and coordinating construction documents across multiple disciplines; preparing comprehensive constructability reviews of pre-bid documents; collaborating with project stakeholders; and supporting Design Managers and Owner Authorized Representatives throughout the preconstruction process. Preferred qualifications include extensive experience in architecture/construction administration, construction management, and constructability review within public-sector or educational facilities, with proficiency in document coordination and tools like Bluebeam.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 15+ years of professional experience
- 10+ years as a Construction Administrator
- 5+ years as a Designer
- Experience supporting public or educational facility construction projects
- Experience on projects valued at $8M+ individually or $80M+ cumulatively
- Experience managing construction projects in public/educational sectors
- Strong understanding of construction documents and coordination
- Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
