Job Summary
Constructability Review Specialist to support preconstruction phase for education facilities. Responsibilities include defining and reviewing scope of work and schedule, providing value engineering recommendations at design outset, identifying inconsistencies and errors in progress plans to reduce RFIs and Change Orders, coordinating documents between design disciplines, preparing comprehensive constructability reviews of pre-bid construction documents, and collaborating with Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative. Requires strong written and verbal communication, proficiency with RFCs and submittals, and experience with MS Word/Excel and Bluebeam. Education project experience with public/educational facilities and a bachelor’s-level Architecture degree; 15 years of relevant full-time experience with either Architecture/Construction Administrator roles or Project Superintendent/Manager roles and project values as specified. Required Qualifications
- 15 years full time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and: a) 10 years as Construction Administrator; b) 5 years as Designer; c) Construction Administrator on public/educational facilities >= $8M single project or combined $80M; OR 15 years full time paid professional experience as Project Superintendent or Project Manager on public/educational facility construction and/or large commercial projects with responsibilities for coordinating complex projects with single project value > $30M and combined $400M
