Job Summary
Oversee miscellaneous construction and signage projects across Marshalls, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Homesense, and Sierra chains by assigning General Contractors and Sign Vendors. Create construction contract preparation memos and DocuSigns, negotiate pricing, review proposals and invoices, and ensure timely close-outs. Distribute required project documents to external and internal contacts, send kick-off emails, and conduct remote meetings. Track progress, adjust contractor schedule strategies, and supply Field Organization and Management updates detailing initiative status. Manage multiple projects while adhering to budgets and store layout specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organization and project planning skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one time
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Understanding and ability to read blueprints, specifically Floor Plans, Elevations, and Site Plans
- Ability to decipher landlord and city codes as it relates to exterior signs
- Adept in Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years in Construction, Facilities, Store Planning, Fixturing, Architectural Design, or related construction trades
- Strong knowledge of store layouts, HVAC, electrical and plumbing criteria
- Experience working on complex projects
- Retail experience
- General fixturing, and retail store planning knowledge
- Lucernex and Service Channel experience
