Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership for the multi-State, multi-sector consortium in Sudan, ensuring program delivery aligns with donor requirements and contextual changes. Lead governance mechanisms, manage cross-organizational risks, and resolve complex operational issues to protect program quality and accountability. Oversee financial stewardship, including budget forecasting, expenditure monitoring, and audit readiness, while coordinating procurement and donor reporting across partners. Manage partner performance through regular reviews, due diligence, and capacity strengthening initiatives, representing the consortium in external stakeholder forums. Conduct routine field supervision to assess progress, compliance, and technical quality, ensuring integrated monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems drive adaptive management.
Required Qualifications
- Strategic program and consortium leadership experience
- Ability to translate complex award requirements into clear plans, decisions and accountability
- Master's degree in International Development, Humanitarian Assistance, Public Health, Social Sciences, Project Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field
- Bachelor's degree combined with significant relevant experience
- Strong financial, sub-award, compliance and risk-management skills
- Minimum of 3 years of senior management experience
- Experience overseeing multi-sector humanitarian programs

- Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) knowledge
- Demonstrated experience integrating protection mainstreaming into humanitarian programs
- Experience integrating safeguarding into humanitarian programs
- Experience integrating gender equality into humanitarian programs
- Experience integrating disability inclusion into humanitarian programs
- Experience integrating accountability to affected populations (AAP) into humanitarian programs
- Knowledge of multi-sector humanitarian programming
- Knowledge of programming in fragile or conflict-affected settings
- Knowledge of humanitarian principles
- Professional fluency in written English
- Professional fluency in spoken English
- 50% travel to Khartoum (head office)
- 50% travel to Tawila (North Darfur)
