Consolidation Lead Expert, APAC

Job Summary
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes across multiple APAC entities, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies. Review monthly consolidations and reporting with analysis of group financial performance, while providing technical accounting guidance on complex topics such as acquisitions, disposals, and impairments. Lead overall audit processes, including review of financial statements and deliverables, and act as the key liaison between APAC finance, Group Accounting, and external auditors. Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, identify automation opportunities, and provide mentoring to build technical capability within the team. Partner with country finance teams to ensure accurate reporting submissions and involve in due diligence exercises and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 8–12 years of working experience in complex group consolidation
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and group reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience with consolidation systems (e.g., Magnitude) and SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in multicultural environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams located in different geographies
- Strong communication skills, including ability to explain technical topics clearly
- High attention to detail with a proactive mindset and highly organized
Desired Qualifications
- Candidate with external audit, strong consolidation, accounting in M&A related experience preferred
