Job Summary

Monitor DCS alarms, graphics, Standard Operating Conditions, and gas detection systems while making process adjustments to maintain control and achieve operating excellence. Track chemical production activities by monitoring temperatures, pressures, and levels, ensuring safety equipment remains operable, and executing corrective actions for abnormal conditions or emergencies. Adjust process parameters for weather events, coordinate with field operators, and respond to power or fire incidents following emergency procedures. Log employee time sheets, participate in shift hand-offs, and maintain good housekeeping in control rooms. Complete site safety orientation, follow all environmental policies, and contribute to audits, HAZOPs, and quality efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
