Job Summary
Coordinate, develop and deliver a conservation education program plan while collaborating with DCNR and the Pennsylvania Game Commission; oversee the Elk Country Visitors Center educational department; develop lesson plans and outreach programs; schedule programs and coordinate events; network with universities and districts to attract interns and educators; manage volunteers and interns; assist with website content; write articles for Tracks and Racks; develop and monitor the ECVC programming plan and annual budget; coordinate EITC reporting; support public relations activities and community outreach; opportunities include non-traditional scheduling and weekend commitments; starting salary $57,000; benefits include health, retirement, and vacation offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in education, conservation, wildlife management or related majors
- Act 48 Clearances
- CPR/First Aid
- Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and ZOOM
