Conservation Data Advisor - Asia Pacific

Job Summary
Regional Conservation Data Advisor for the Asia Pacific region, partnering with CDT and CST to enable high-quality conservation data, MEL alignment, and evidence-based decision making. Responsibilities include delivering targeted data science support, developing dashboards and reporting outputs (impact briefs, analytical summaries, data reports), ensuring data quality and adherence to standards, collaborating with regional MEL staff and CDT colleagues, and growing CDT’s impact across Asia Pacific. Requires a Master’s in a science-related field and 4 years of relevant experience; strong data-analytic skills (Power BI/Tableau/GIS/Python/R), cross-cultural collaboration, and ability to work across time zones. This is a 2-year term with regional work authorization required in an Asia Pacific program country; travel to other countries in the region is anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in science related field
- 4 years of experience advancing data quality and use of data in management
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, GIS, Python, Excel, R)
- Experience leading and mentoring teams
- Experience supporting conservation strategy and decisions with data
- Willingness to work across time zones
- Ability to work across cultures in Asia Pacific
