Job Summary
Supervise the Bronx River Conservation Crew and field-based conservation/river-management activities; manage performance and schedules for full-time crew, seasonal aides, apprentices, and interns; develop maps and planting plans with community partners and volunteers; document grant/reporting information; lead safety procedures and signage; maintain tools/equipment inventory; coordinate with administration on community engagement and events, and lead education/outreach to involve youth and the public in Bronx River projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field or equivalence
- Two years of experience in community work or related activities OR six years with high school or equivalent
- Education and/or experience equivalent to the above requirements with at least one year of related experience
