Job Summary
Provide legal advice to policyholders regarding their protection insurance coverage and assist clients in applying and following their policy terms. Conduct telephone consultations to guide clients through payment situations and determine applicable coverage for disputes. Manage external consultations and litigation files with external lawyers, confirming and authorizing reimbursements for legal fees and expertises. Contribute to the development of the legal protection product and collaborate on writing legal chronicles and training insurance agents. Requires a university law degree, bar membership in Quebec, and at least one year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Diplôme d'études universitaires en droit
- Être membre du barreau du Québec
- Détenir un minimum d'un (1) an d'expérience dans des fonctions pertinentes
- Maitrise intermédiaire de la langue anglaise, à l'oral seulement
