Job Summary
Inspect construction sites for excavation and civil engineering projects, conducting safety audits, coaching foremen, and investigating incidents. Analyze risks related to excavations, trenches, heavy equipment, underground utilities, lifting, and traffic. Design and deliver safety training for workers and managers, while maintaining the prevention program and ensuring CNESST compliance. Manage occupational injury files, draft reports, and analyze safety trends. Rotate between field inspections and office-based preparation during winter seasons. Requires five years of SST experience in construction, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Maestro or similar ERPs.
Required Qualifications
- 5 ans d'expérience comme conseiller(ère) SST en construction
- 3 ans d'expérience comme conseiller(ère) SST en construction
- Expérience chez un entrepreneur en excavation ou en génie civil
- Bonne connaissance de la réglementation de la CNESST
- Permis de conduire valide
- Être à l'aise en inspections
- Être à l'aise en animation de formations
- Être crédible sur le terrain
- Être respecté par les travailleurs
- Comprendre le métier des travailleurs
- Être calme
- Être autonome

Desired Qualifications
- Expérience dans une entreprise membre d'une mutuelle de prévention
- Chantiers municipaux ou du MTQ
- Organisation de plus de 100 employés
