Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for leading the Connor store in Airport West with a customer-first mindset, driving sales and KPI performance while coaching and developing the crew. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring the team, ensuring exceptional store presentation and visual merchandising, managing stock, rosters, and daily operations, communicating effectively with management and head office, delivering feedback and development plans, and upholding Connor values and a positive store culture. The role requires leadership, people-management, coaching, recruitment and training, stock control, compliance with safety procedures, and the ability to connect with customers and drive business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Retail management experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to lead by example and coach team
- Rostering/shift scheduling experience
- Knowledge of KPI and sales targets
- Visual merchandising proficiency
- Familiarity with stock management and POS systems (Dayforce was referenced)
- Ability to train and onboard staff
- Problem solving and decision making
- Safety and WH&S compliance
- Brand ambassador mindset
