Connectivity System Manager

Job Summary
Connectivity System Manager responsible for leading engineering teams in India and China to design, develop and deliver connectivity systems and IoT solutions. Key duties include managing staff and activities toward goals, monitoring and improving product and process performance, establishing and maintaining requirements documentation spanning marketing, functional, system, software and hardware aspects, collaborating with Cat Digital, IMS, and other product groups to meet customer needs, and mentoring SMEs in China and India. Requires end-to-end system design expertise, embedded systems and firmware experience, cloud technologies, networking knowledge, and proven global collaboration skills to align requirements with business objectives and deliver high-quality connectivity solutions. Travel up to 20% and domestic relocation assistance not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in embedded systems, firmware development, cloud technologies (API, AWS/Azure) and networking protocols
- Demonstrated leadership experience guiding teams and project leads
- Experience with IoT solution design and deployment
- Knowledge of NPI/CPI/NTI processes or related product introduction experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to persuade and influence across teams
- Ability to travel up to 20%
