Job Summary
Design, integrate, configure, and maintain complex WANs, LANs, and data center networks for Department of Defense clients. Troubleshoot internetwork issues, analyze traffic characteristics, and optimize system performance to minimize latency and maximize throughput. Lead dynamic requirements efforts, perform site surveys, and execute pre/post-deployment connectivity tests. Draft technical documentation, coordinate with system engineering teams, and implement security configurations including VPNs and firewalls. Validate dataflows and ensure mission operations with minimal downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Twelve (12) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience
- IAT level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
- CCNP certification or higher
- ITIL V3 Foundations
Desired Qualifications
- IAT II certification (Security + CE, GSEC, or SSCP) with plan to obtain IAT level III (CISA, CISSP, CASP, GCIH, or GCED) within 1 month of contract award
