Job Summary
Create and deliver a plan for an enduring customer-aligned connections policy in line with the reformed connections process, collaborating with internal and external parties to develop new procedures. Provide expert policy input to connections, operations, and data teams while aligning processes with networks to cover the full customer connections queue. Build and develop a team to improve cross-interface communications and deliver a robust engagement plan for connections that supports customers and delivery partners. Drive the transformation of the end-to-end connection journey through collaboration, problem-solving, and solution development. This role involves leading the implementation of the redesigned Connections process across Wokingham or Warwick with hybrid working expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment

- Proven senior leadership and influencing skills internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to build high quality, motivated teams and efficient internal and external working interfaces through active relationship building
- Ability to deliver change and mitigate complex risks
- Ability to develop self and their direct reports to achieve their full potential
- Ability to develop solutions in a complex & uncertain environment
- Experience in implementation of new processes and business change activities
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including with senior leaders, regulators and external stakeholders
- This role can be based from Wokingham or Warwick
- Expectation to be in the office at least 1 day per week
- If not based at Warwick then frequent (at least 1 day per week) travel to Warwick may be required
