Job Summary
Lead customer engagement for transmission network connection enquiries and applications across Victoria, managing negotiations and contractual arrangements for major generation, load, and market connection projects. Deliver timely, compliant, and commercially sound connection solutions that create value for customers and AusNet while responding to enquiries from AEMO, generators, and large energy users. Build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and collaborate across engineering, legal, regulatory, finance, and project teams to progress opportunities from enquiry through to delivery. Assist in developing business processes, policies, and procedures in relation to network connections and augmentations. This permanent full-time role is based in Southbank, Melbourne, with a hybrid work arrangement and ad hoc travel.
Required Qualifications
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- Proven experience managing complex transmission network connections, including major load and generation projects
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience negotiating contracts, agreements, and customer outcomes
- Sound knowledge of the National Electricity Rules (NER) and their application to network connections
- End-to-end project management experience, from concept and development through to commissioning and operations
- Broad understanding of engineering, project delivery, finance, legal, and governance disciplines
