Job Summary
Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external stakeholders, including Transmission and Distribution Owners, to deliver and maintain customer connection projects in line with the Grid Code and industry standards. Own the relationship with a portfolio of customers, managing them throughout the project life cycle while developing contracts and proactively managing commercial solutions. Identify associated connection risks and support the development of mitigation solutions for the benefit of customers and the business. Accurately record and manage data in all appropriate systems to ensure compliance with licence, industry codes, and GDPR. Deliver seamless services internally and externally while applying detailed contract knowledge to continuously improve business value. This 12-month contract covers maternity leave and is based in Warwick, Wokingham, or Glasgow with hybrid working options.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment
- Visa sponsorship may not be available for this role
- Experience of effectively dealing with customers leading to dispute resolution
- Experience in simultaneously managing multiple projects, all to a high standard
- Knowledge of the Grid Code, CUSC, STC and associated governance structures and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to understand the contractual and commercial requirements of the codes and how to apply them to projects
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, both internally and with our external customers and stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex issues and offer users viable solutions, considering impact on the electricity system
- Ability to explain contractual issues to customers in simple terms
- Ability to establish links across NESO to ensure any interdependencies on projects is understood and explained to the end user
