Job Summary
Diagnose residential and light-commercial plumbing problems, repair leaks, burst pipes, failed fixtures, water heaters, and other systems, and respond professionally to emergency calls. Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers, complete work in accordance with Connecticut plumbing codes, and document every job with accurate notes, photographs, and recommendations. Collect authorizations and payments, maintain a clean work environment, and communicate job status with dispatch. Participate in a scheduled, compensated after-hours on-call rotation covering weekdays, weekends, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License
- Residential service and repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time
- Professional, respectful customer communication
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability
- Ability to use a smartphone and field-service applications
- Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work
