Job Summary
Independently manage an active litigation caseload, handling court appearances, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings. Collaborate closely with partners, attorneys, and legal support staff to prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and deliver outstanding client service. Develop litigation strategy while maintaining regular communication with clients to provide timely case status updates. This role requires a Juris Doctor admitted to practice in Connecticut with general liability litigation experience, including products liability, trucking, and transportation matters. Required Qualifications
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in the State of Connecticut
- General liability litigation experience
- Experience handling products liability, trucking, and transportation matters
- Excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and legal project management skills
- The ability to independently manage a caseload while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality legal work
