Job Summary
Lead the investigation and resolution of infotainment and connected vehicle quality issues for North American vehicles, managing a team of specialists to troubleshoot complex software problems. Oversee end-to-end Over-the-Air campaign operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring, while providing go/no-go recommendations and presenting results during FAST Infoshare sessions. Collaborate with engineering managers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to define deployment plans, analyze data for root cause determination, and implement corrective actions. Prioritize issues based on severity and customer impact, ensuring timely resolution through direct engagement with retailers and international partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6-8 years
- Strong knowledge of head unit software, Data Communication Models (DCM), and out-car connected services
- Experience managing software development processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to investigate and explain the findings in a technical manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time with ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different companies, teams, and cultures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with leading people and managing a team
- Ability to interact effectively with Japanese people and adapt to Japanese business practices
- Experience working in a Japanese business environment
- Understanding of (or ability to understand) Subaru's quality issue resolution process and development process
Desired Qualifications
