Job Summary
Congregation Outreach Coordinator responsible for leading Mariners Outreach at the Santa Ana congregation, implementing events and programs (Food Pantry, ESL, etc.), identifying and training volunteers, supervising volunteers, and coordinating administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and financial updates. The role emphasizes leadership development, building teams, and forming partnerships to serve vulnerable communities, with a schedule including Saturdays and some Sundays, office work in Irvine two days per week, and approximately 40 hours total. Bilingual preferred; must align with Mariners Church faith and policies, and work with the Outreach Multiplication Pastor and Discipleship Pastor to execute the congregation’s outreach vision.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working with at-risk populations
- Demonstrated ability to develop volunteers
- Ability to self- manage flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours
- Skilled at developing cross-functional collaborations and partnerships both internally and externally
