Job Summary
The role of Congregate Residential Counselor focuses on making a difference in the lives of youth who have experienced trauma and significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include being physically active for shifts, participating in verbal de-escalation, and physical intervention with youth. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably experience working with youth. Staff receive training in behavior support, crisis management, and trauma-informed care, emphasizing a child-centered, team approach to care.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalency
- Experience working with youth, particularly in a similar setting preferred

- Passing the CORI/background check and having a valid ID
- Ability to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required
