Conformal Coating Technician

Job Summary
Operate, set up, and program the PVA Delta 8 conformal coating machine while creating and optimizing coating parameters. Review drawings and work instructions to determine coating requirements, then verify masking, fixturing, and board preparation before application. Perform equipment calibration, routine maintenance, and develop adequate masking methods. Inspect coated assemblies for proper coverage and troubleshoot process issues, coordinating corrective actions with Engineering and Quality. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with training production personnel to support process improvements. Follow applicable IPC standards and customer specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training
- Hands-on experience with PVA Delta 8 selective conformal coating equipment
- Experience with PVA PathMaster/PathMaster X programming
- Knowledge of conformal coating processes and applicable IPC standards
