Job Summary
Confocal Sales Specialist responsible for technical sales support of confocal microscopy and advanced imaging products to the life science research community. Drive lead generation, collaborate with Account Managers in team-selling efforts, manage pipeline from opportunity creation to closing, and produce field data/publications that highlight product benefits. Requires expertise in biology/chemistry, familiarity with fluorescence and confocal imaging, strong interpersonal skills, travel readiness, and remote-work flexibility within the SF Bay Area/Pacific Northwest region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry or related scientific field
- Familiarity with biological imaging applications; fluorescence, confocal microscopy and optics experience
- Multiple years in a research, quality-control or production environment, applying microscopy and digital imaging techniques
- Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to learn sales techniques and tools
- Travel eligibility within assigned geography and potential international travel
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Based in the SF Bay Area (California)
