Job Summary
Conflicts Attorney role in a law firm focusing on identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflicts of interest related to new business intake and lateral hiring. Responsible for reviewing conflict reports, drafting clear conflict waivers, reviewing engagement letters, ensuring compliance with outside counsel guidelines, assisting with audit letters, and performing conflict searches as needed. Requires JD with at least 3 years of experience in a law firm, and preferably a Bar license in CA, IL, DC, or NY. The position is primarily remote with occasional onsite presence near downtown Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) required
- At least three (3) years of related work experience as a Conflicts Attorney in a law firm
- Onsite availability in the Los Angeles area for occasional meetings
- Preferably Bar License in CA, IL, DC, or NY
Additional Requirements
- Local to the Los Angeles area for onsite meetings at the office, as needed
- Remote work is primarily allowed with occasional onsite requirement
