Job Summary
Conflicts Attorney at a distinguished international law firm in New York. Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving potential conflicts of interest related to new business intake and lateral hiring across Firm offices. Ensure compliance with conflicts and risk management policies, draft conflict waivers and engagement letters, review outside counsel guidelines, perform conflict searches, assist with audit letters, and supervise/coordinate with conflict analysts as needed. Requires J.D. and at least 3 years of related experience; preferred licensure in CA/IL/DC/NY; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work mostly remotely with occasional onsite presence.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- Licensed in CA, IL, DC or NY (preferably)
- At least three (3) years of related work experience as a Conflicts Attorney in a law firm
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Self-directed and highly responsive, excelling in a mostly remote work environment
