Job Summary
Conflicts Advisor to join Walkers' Office of General Counsel, providing global conflicts support with conflicts analysis, escalations and reporting focused on conflicts of interest. Based in London with hybrid work, the role supports multiple offices worldwide, delivering conflict checks, reviewing reports, advising partners and lawyers, developing training materials, updating manuals/policies/templates, drafting conflict and confidentiality waivers, and contributing to global conflicts projects. Requires a graduate with experience in international risk and compliance focusing on conflicts of interest, knowledge of professional conflicts rules, and strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with experience in an international risk and compliance function role with a focus on conflicts of interest
- Practical knowledge and experience of preventing, identifying and managing conflicts of interest
- Knowledge of professional conflicts rules
- Experience using Intapp or a similar onboarding tool is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with partners, employees and clients
- Strong research and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Client-focused and commercial aptitude
- Ability to work under pressure and responsive to the expectations of partners and clients
- Able to prioritise competing demands, excellent time management and organisational skills
