Job Summary
Process daily conflict checks, oversee the conflict queue, and ensure timely, accurate resolution of potential risks while maintaining data integrity and compliance. Perform conflict of interest and business relationship analyses using firm policies and external research sources like Pacer. Maintain high-quality standards through routine evaluations of checks in process, sufficient intake documentation storage, and 24-hour turn-around for initial checks. Assume increasing responsibility for training new team members and assist with other Conflict Management initiatives as requested. Work US Mountain or Pacific time hours with occasional weekend coverage in a hybrid or fully remote setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ year of experience in conflicts analysis, client intake, AML, in the legal field, or related experience
- Ability to identify and analyze complex issues (critical thinking)
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong supervision and staff management skills
- Ability to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
- In depth understanding of conflict of interests and new client intake principles
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat)
- Experience with InTapp Open or similar conflict software
- Boolean search logic experience
- Must be a team player who is comfortable in a small team and highly collaborative environment
- Must be flexible and willing to learn new skills and assist with duties and initiatives as they arise
- US mountain time hours (830AM-530PM MST) or US pacific time hours (830AM-530PM PST)
- occasional weekend coverage
