Job Summary
Conduct confined space rescue services as needed or scheduled, following associated Job Safety Analyses and maintaining situational hygiene for personal protective equipment levels. Ensure clear communication with involved personnel while practicing safe work practices per Company safety rules and OSHA regulations. Review work plans and equipment requirements to ensure efficient project completion, then safeguard confidential information and complete daily notes with customer signatures. Maximize utilization of Lewis owned resources and maintain training documentation for all assigned equipment. Daily and overnight travel may be required, with weekend and 24-hour on-call status.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in a related field
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Criminal Background
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have flexibility in their personal schedule including weekend and 24 hours on call status
- Strong focus on Safety, Integrity, Accountability, and Quality
- Physical ability to raise and lower your own body weight utilizing a rope system
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Ability to work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Work and travel in inclement weather
- Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor 50-70% of the time
- Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels
Desired Qualifications
- 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is preferred.
- NFPA 1006 Technical Rescuer Certifications
- Emergency Medical Technician or higher is preferred.
