Confined Space Entry Monitor

Monitor and protect entrants during confined space operations by maintaining communication via radio or verbal signals and posting permits at entry points. Perform external fire watch duties for hotwork, verify ventilation and pre-entry meter readings, and ensure all entrants wear required PPE including harnesses connected to rescue devices. Execute non-entry rescues using RSRL or mechanical devices, summon emergency services, and order evacuations when hazards arise. Prevent unauthorized access to permit spaces while documenting worker movements. Maintain continuous communication with the entry supervisor and review SDS profiles to identify exposure risks.
