Job Summary
Coordinate with programs and purchasing departments for BOM to job file structures and flow-down information. Generate qualified BOMs from frontend engineering teams or customer-supplied parts lists, then maintain product technical data packages and internal documents. Initiate, monitor, and implement BOM change notifications while managing ECNs, ECPs, ECOs, and NORs. Maintain organized filing systems for print packages and archive electronic documents on the network server. Attend impact assessments and product launch meetings as the configurations department representative.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in mechanical design, manufacturing technology, preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings, preferred
- Ability to utilize rule-based logic to convert parts lists/prints to BOMs
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
- Strong organizational and planning skills
