Job Summary
Enter, update, and maintain customer Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and engineering requests that change the Bill of Material (BOM). Generate BOMs from customer-supplied parts lists, print packages for new solicitations and jobs, and maintain organized filing systems for all print packages. Initiate, monitor, and implement BOM change notifications while archiving all electronic documents on the network server. Implement, maintain, and archive all change notices for internal and external requests, including ECNs, ECPs, ECOs, and NORs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- AS degree in mechanical design, business, manufacturing technology, accounting or IS, preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings, preferred
- Ability to utilize rule-based logic to convert parts lists to BOMs
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
