Job Summary
Configuration Technician I responsible for setup, configuration, and deployment of IT assets for client environments. Responsibilities include imaging and quality-checking laptops/desktops/VDI, configuring printers (Zebra/Canon), installing and configuring hardware/software on user devices and servers, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, bench-testing refurbished devices, deploying peripherals, managing user access and permissions, server hardware configuration, supporting Azure Virtual Desktop and Vision deployments, SCCM software deployments, printer issues resolution, ServiceNow ticket handling, and documenting configurations and troubleshooting steps. Must have 1-3 years of related experience, strong communication skills, familiarity with Windows/Mac OS, desktop applications, printers, and hardware, and be able to work full-time with local travel.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience
- CompTIA A+ or comparable experience
- Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Working knowledge of desktop applications
- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware
- Knowledge of PowerShell use is a plus
- Ability to work full time
- Occasional travel (Locally – up to 25%)
