Configuration Specialist- Professional Services

Job Summary
Configuration Specialists will configure MCP across multiple capability groups, assist onshore consultants through the full implementation lifecycle (requirements through go-live), develop and maintain SOWs and configuration documentation, and resolve tickets. They will engage in asynchronous client communications, track progress in ADO/Jira/Smartsheet, and ensure adherence to configuration standards. The role supports automation and AI-driven implementation initiatives and prefers experience with LOS/mortgage software, MCP familiarity, and nearshore/offshore delivery for U.S.-based clients.
Required Qualifications
- Execute configuration tasks within MCP across assigned capability groups (core platform setup, workflow configuration, document/imaging setup, reporting, system integrations)
- Support onshore implementation consultants through full project lifecycle (requirements gathering, design-and-build, acceptance testing, UAT, go-live)
- Contribute to SOW development, configuration documentation, and implementation estimates under onshore direction
- Resolve open tickets/defects within capability areas with triage/escalation protocols
- Communicate with clients asynchronously (status updates, defect clarifications, documentation requests) as directed by onshore lead
- Maintain records of configuration progress, open items, and ticket status in project tracking tools (ADO, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Follow configuration standards, naming conventions, and quality checklists to ensure consistency across deliverables
- Collaborate with onshore team and participate in coordination touchpoints and async channels
- Support automation and AI-assisted implementation initiatives by executing structured tasks within workflows
- Experience with LOS/mortgage software and familiarity with MCP (Enterprise or Essentials) is a strong plus
- Experience in mortgage processes (origination, underwriting, closing, post-closing) and enterprise SaaS environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience configuring Mortgage Cadence Platform (MCP)
- Experience with Loan Origination System (LOS) or mortgage servicing platform
- SOW development, effort estimation, or requirements documentation
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or basic automation concepts
- Nearshore or offshore delivery experience, particularly supporting U.S.-based clients
- Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., ADO, Jira, Smartsheet) and client-facing communication
