Job Summary
As Xona's first Configuration Manager, you will own the systems and processes for maintaining accurate engineering data, managing Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and integrating engineering data with supply chain and production teams. Key responsibilities include owning the PDM/PLM systems, designing an effective Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, supporting ERP integration, and documentation and training for engineering systems. Required qualifications include 3-6 years of PDM/PLM experience in hardware-centric engineering organizations, hands-on experience with ECO processes, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience administering or possess deep user knowledge of PDM / PLM platforms
- Hands-on experience building or managing engineering change order processes
- Demonstrated ability to work at the interface of engineering and production operations
- Strong systems thinker who can translate engineering workflows into tool configurations and process designs
- Self-directed with a bias toward doing
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with engineers and operations leads
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience with Arena PDM software at an administrator level
- Familiarity with procurement/purchasing platforms
- Experience with MES or other work instruction / test procedure platforms
- Background in aerospace, defense, or similarly complex hardware development environments
- Experience supporting or contributing to an ERP implementation from the engineering data side
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, small-team environment
Additional Requirements
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident for U.S. roles
- Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance for U.K. roles
- Must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level for Canada roles
