Job Summary
Configuration Manager to own and maintain the accuracy, integrity, and traceability of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure baselines and configuration items. Responsibilities include tracking configuration changes across engineering, operations, and tech refresh activities, maintaining inventory and cataloging of EII systems, and managing the knowledge management repository to ensure accessible, properly indexed configuration artifacts. The role requires ensuring changes are documented, approved, versioned, and aligned with approved baselines, and supporting audit readiness and enterprise configuration discipline across networks. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or 10+ years of relevant IT experience, DoD 8140 IA workforce certifications (e.g., Security+ CE), TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph, and experience with configuration management, documentation control, and ITIL/CM/change-control processes. Familiarity with SharePoint or KM portals for version-controlled documentation, and experience in large DoW/IC infrastructure environments are preferred. Location is onsite at multiple US sites (MD, DC, CO, FL, VA).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
- DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph
- 3+ years of experience in configuration management, documentation control, or configuration governance within DoW, IC, or engineering environments
- Experience maintaining version-controlled documentation repositories (SharePoint, KM portals, or similar)
- Familiarity with ITIL, CM, and change control processes
- Experience creating or managing system documentation, baselines, and configuration records
- US citizenship required
