Job Summary
Senior Configuration Manager role focused on establishing and delivering standard processes and repositories for configuration control documents and a corresponding board process in a complex cyber/IT environment in the Indo-Pacific region. Responsibilities include delivering technical diagrams and documents for existing delivery and new projects, interfacing with security teams, stakeholders, and engineering groups to ensure resilient data-centric delivery, managing priorities, and communicating summaries to leadership. The position requires formal configuration management experience, ITSM familiarity, STIG compliance, and experience with configuration control boards and engineering change proposals, as well as cross-functional communications. Requires security clearance and identity verification processes. Booz Allen compensation ranges from $77,600 to $176,000 annually, with benefits and remote/hybrid work considerations as described in the employer’s policy.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in formal configuration management, including environment integrity, baselines, documentation, audits and accounting, and lifecycle management
- Experience with ITSM and configuration management software
- Experience with STIG compliance
- Experience managing Configuration Control Boards and Engineering Change Proposals
- Experience with technical drawing software and technical writing
- Experience documenting workflows
- Ability to demonstrate cross-functional communications with a variety of engineering teams
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field (preferred)
- CPCP, CMPIC, ITIL4, and NDIA CDM Certifications (preferred)
