Job Summary
Plan configuration within projects and product teams, applying configuration management processes to support business units. Identify and define product structures for hardware and software, including manufacturer part numbers, while participating in change control board decisions and establishing change management guidelines. Conduct internal and external configuration audits, maintain records, and define monitoring for build statuses. Improve the configuration management system in SAP, approve project documentation, and deliver training courses. Requires a Bachelor's degree, several years of configuration management experience, SAP proficiency, and CM2/CMPIC 1–4, 10 certification. Based in Bremen, Germany, with worldwide travel willingness.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Bachelor's degree in engineering or a state-certified technician qualification
- Several years' experience in configuration management
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP in the areas of materials management and configuration and change management
- In-depth knowledge of configuration processes
- Current CM2/CMPIC 1–4, 10 certification
- Very good command of English and German (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel worldwide
