Job Summary
Conduct periodic site inventories to maintain accurate records of equipment, software, and systems. Prepare and maintain technical drawings while researching data to create and update inventory and technical databases. Process configuration change requests, verifying and documenting all changes, and coordinate equipment utilization to ensure availability and compliance. Perform logistic tasks including shipping, receiving, and disposal of assets. Supervise configuration management staff, establish disciplined CM processes, and conduct quality assurance checks on documentation. Provide training in configuration management processes and tools. Support a cybersecurity project for the U.S. Navy in the Charleston, SC area. Requires seven years of experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and familiarity with CM Pro.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Candidate must be eligible for DoW TS/SCI upon hiring
- Minimum of seven (7) years of directly related experience in configuration management and support
- Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management, including experience with CM software support packages commonly used in project management
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct the work of others and to serve as a technical task or team lead
- Experience supporting DoW programs or government technical environments
- Familiarity with CM Pro, CMPRO, or similar configuration management software
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer‐support mindset
- Ability to work independently and lead technical teams
