Configuration Manager - F/H

Configuration Manager responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the configuration management system across products, projects and services. Key duties include writing and maintaining the configuration management plan, establishing practices for identification, versioning and baselining, managing incidents and evolutions through CFT/CCB, leading configuration reviews and audits, and providing expertise to select configuration articles while coaching teams on best practices. The role requires coordinating with Product Owners, the Engineering Delivery Manager and other team members to ensure coherence of configuration items across System, Software, Hardware factories and PLM environments, with responsibilities including reporting, interface management, and ensuring consistency and quality of configuration across deliverables. The position is based on Thales’ Vélizy campus near Paris, France, within an engineering environment supporting multiple domains (aero, defense, civil) and international collaboration.
