Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day activities of the Configuration Management process, including establishing priorities, tracking compliance, and conducting audits. Develop and maintain TerraPower's Configuration Management processes, procedures, and baselines while mentoring project teams on these services. Facilitate communication with business and IT management, engage with projects to ensure CMS functionality meets timeframes, and review changes to the CMS infrastructure and IT systems. Support design reviews and Change Control Board meetings, providing accurate configuration information to aid decision-making on change authorization and incident resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- at least 5 years of configuration management experience in a nuclear or other highly regulated industry
- Master's and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Process improvement experience
- Ability to identify needed changes to processes and activities and help to implement continuous improvement solutions
- Experience with engineering strategies for new technologies and infrastructure processes
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
