Job Summary
Configuration Management Engineer II for OpenEye OpenEye, Cadence Molecular Sciences seeks to develop and maintain build configurations for a large, multi-platform software suite used in drug discovery modeling. You’ll manage and extend automated build and testing frameworks across applications and toolkits, modernize build infrastructure, and collaborate with scientific developers and IT to troubleshoot platform-specific issues. The role involves CI setup, deployment of the software suite, and ensuring compatibility across operating systems and languages while coordinating with a team of software engineers and scientists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 1-3+ years relevant experience developing in modern scientific languages (Python/C++/etc.)
- Experience with build scripts, build management and continuous integration
- Good people/communication skills and ability to work as a part of a team
- Ability to work under a development schedule
- Plus: 3-5+ years experience developing in C/C++ and related build systems with CMake
- Plus: Experience with build management of large scale, complex code base
- Plus: Continuous Integration experience with TeamCity
