Job Summary
Configuration Management Engineer responsible for managing configuration across complex engineering systems, ensuring consistency and integrity through design and construction. Interfaces between engineering, construction, and project controls teams; maintains baselines, coordinates design changes and technical interfaces, produces configuration data and KPIs, supports audits, and applies standards across engineering and construction activities. Hybrid work arrangement (1-2 days remote per week) in Derby, England, UK. Strong attention to technical data, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration within regulated/safety-critical environments. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering and experience in configuration management of large-scale projects.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Experience within one or more engineering disciplines
- Background in configuration, design, or technical documentation processes
- Strong attention to detail with technical data and drawings
- Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to communicate effectively with engineering and construction teams
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments
- Exposure to large industrial or infrastructure projects
- Residency criteria to attain minimum level of UK security clearance (SC)
