Job Summary
Configuration Management Analyst Professional to support Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). Provide CMDM guidance to Integrated Product Team across program management, engineering, cybersecurity. Implement hardware and/or software configuration and data management to meet contractual requirements. Control baselines for delivered software/hardware items and documentation; analyze design changes to assess impact on baselines and recommend changes. Perform audits on configuration items, document findings, and deploy corrective actions. Maintain revision and version control across multiple baselines in use. Enforce change-control processes throughout development and sustainment life cycles. Support development, delivery, and reviews of program documentation/status accounting. Prepare and review software/hardware change requests for compliance with guidelines and best practices. Lead and mentor analysts in configuration and data management, configuration control boards, validation, verification, and software sustainment. Train staff in all phases of engineering project development and required tools/skills to produce deliverables. Travel-required and flexible hours as project requires.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 3+ years of experience in sustaining or development engineering environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and resolve problems under direct supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
- Working knowledge of materials, components, assemblies, and hardware
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g., WindChill)
- Experience with engineering documentation, product structure, and change order management
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship)
- Some travel to remote sites and flexibility to work non-duty hours as needed
